Overdose of cocaine, heroine & Mahajan!!!!!

hmmm...for the past week or so the media has been bombarding the janta at large practically forcing dowm their throats the amazing Mahajan saga.....

A classic case of media overkill....the rahul mahajan saga started with this dude ODing on cocaine / heroine / drinks & been admitted to the hospital along with his fathers secy who incidentally died...now considering that the chap in questions happens to be the son of recently shot & killed Pramod Mahajan the media at large went in an overdrive....it was as if christmas had come early for them....

In their overenthused state the media went into a hyper state with nothing else being aired...many actually imp developments happened but all of them were relegated to mere tickers....

to top it all the coverage or the so called analyses was terrible....so much so that as a viewer I cud not watch it beyond a point...

Now rambling aside but is this the state of media in our country....in the view of competition instead of getting better media seems to be getting worse...TOI - nationas largets read daily actually had the audacity to post this nugget of info on the front page - 'e got the dope right' - wen everyone was laughing at us for printing that RM had heroine not cocaine, we kept quite now look whos laughing.....is this what the media has come to???

sadly there is no answer to this question.....i hope the this deplorable state doesn't continue for long though....
